The Headlight Restoration Process

Apply Tape Around The Headlights
First, we tape off the paint around the headlights to make sure that we don't scratch anything.

Sand With 800 Grit Sandpaper
Then we use a 800 grit sandpaper to knock off the oxidation and failed clear coat.

Sand With 2,000 Grit Sandpaper
Next, we sand with an 2,000 grit sandpaper to begin to refine the sanding marks.

Wet Sand With 3,000 Grit Sandpaper
We then wet sand with 3,000 grit sandpaper to begin clearing the headlights.

Apply A Compound
We'll apply a compound using a machine polisher to remove the sanding marks.

Apply Wax
Finally, we will hand-apply a wax to keep the headlights looking new for 4-6 months.
